General
SOURC is based in South Yorkshire, covering Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham, Wakefield, Leeds, Harrogate, Chesterfield, Manchester and the surrounding areas — with installations also carried out further afield across the UK.
SOURC works with a mix of in-house engineers and carefully vetted subcontract partners. Whoever carries out the work, they're trained to our standard and accountable to SOURC, so you deal with one company throughout.

Solar PV
Most residential installations are completed within one to two days, depending on system size and roof complexity.
Most UK homes benefit from permitted development rights, though listed buildings and some conservation areas may need consent.
Yes — most solar PV systems we install are battery-ready, so storage can be added later without needing to replace your existing setup.
Air Conditioning
Yes — SOURC is F-Gas registered, so every installation involving refrigerant is carried out in line with UK F-Gas regulations.
Most domestic air conditioning falls under permitted development, with some restrictions for flats and listed buildings.
Most modern systems are reversible heat pumps, providing efficient heating as well as cooling.
EV Chargers
Grant schemes and eligibility change regularly, so we'll check what you may qualify for as part of your free quote.
Modern charge points use the standard Type 2 connector, compatible with the vast majority of electric vehicles sold in the UK.
Bird Proofing
Yes — proofing systems are designed to discourage landing or nesting without causing birds harm.
Deterrent systems that prevent access are generally permitted, but it is illegal to intentionally harm birds or damage active nests.
